my Education & Training

I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University. I completed a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Virginia Counseling and Psychological Services. I worked as a post-doctoral fellow and a staff psychologist at Carnegie Mellon University Counseling and Psychological Services. After providing psychotherapy at community mental health agencies, including an agency specializing in psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ and HIV+ communities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, I opened my private practice in 2011. I also serve as an adjunct clinical professor at Duquesne University, providing clinical supervision to advanced Ph.D. students in Clinical Psychology.

my approach to treatment

My style is collaborative and interactive to meet each person’s unique needs and concerns, using a relational psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approach. I aim to provide a safe space where your concerns and lived experiences are listened to closely and attentively without judgment.
